Making National TV

Being the Wayne County Assistant Prosecutor my brother-in-law, Rob, is on the local news and in the local newspapers quite often. But tonight he will be on A & E's Cold Case Files, featuring a large case he was highly involved with. It is pretty exciting to have a member of the family on National TV! Here is the link to the article in the Detroit Newspaper and the link to the show itself.

I Can Do It Myself!

Sam is getting to be such a big boy. Lately he will not eat breakfast unless he can "do it himself" and be at the "big person table." This is includes cereal with milk and runny oatmeal. So now he will sit at the table like a big boy and attempt to feed himself without any help from Andy or I. More ends up on himself, the table and the floor, then ends up in his mouth. But I guess the more he does it the better he will get at it. It might help too if he had a booster seat (we will be getting one of those in the next couple days). I took some cute pictures and a video too.

Christmas with Andy's Family

Christmas afternoon we celebrated Christmas with Andy's family. Sam got his present when we got there (since it was so big). He got a motorized four wheeler!!! At first he was a little scared of it, but once we got it home later that evening he was trying to ride it all over the house. Hopefully he will get some good practice on it during the winter and this spring he will be all over the backyard! THANK YOU Grandpa and Grandpa! We had a very nice dinner and then opened lots of gifts. Ed and Lynda had bought a lot of stuff from their recent trip to Germany, so we got some cool stuff from them. Sam got a cool Tonka Truck from Uncle Matt and Aunt Kim and a personalized robe from Uncle Rob and Aunt Patti. Lily and Sam are starting to play with each other a little bit and of course Kelsey and Lucy loved playing with their younger cousins! Everyone had a great time! Thank you everyone!!! All the pictures are here!

Christmas Morning

Six o'clock came and went, seven o'clock came and went. Finally at about eight o'clock I heard Sam banging in his crib and I wondered why Jacob wasn't up yet. Jacob was playing his GameBoy in his bed, waiting for us to wake up! So I got the boys up and they saw all the presents that Santa left. Jacob and Sam got a ton of gifts. Jacob's big gift from Santa was a MP3 player. He also got some Bionicles, pajamas, books, drawing stuff and lots of other things. Sam big gift was a basketball hoop. He also got a ton of balls to go with it, some pretend cooking stuff and food, a school bus and lots of other things. Jacob tore into his gifts, while Sam opened one and played with it for awhile and wanted to pass off his other gifts! Andy and the boys got me some new perfume and Andy got a PS2 Game to play with Jacob, some bathroom books and an old Daffy Duck movie he wanted. Even Ocho, the dog, got some presents from Santa! Andy's parents come over for a little while to give Jacob his gifts before he went to his mom's. Jacob got a new Game Boy Micro and a dragon and slippers (from their recent trip to Germany) and lots of other things. It was a great Christmas morning and especially nice to have my whole family together.

I hope everyone had a MERRY CHRISTMAS!

All the pictures from the morning are here.

Twas the Night Before Christmas...

The boys put their Christmas pajamas on (matching of course!) and got all snuggled in their bed so that Santa could come. But first Jacob put out some cookies and milk for Santa and carrots for the reindeer. And of course I took some pictures!

Christmas with Pam's Family

Tonight we celebrated Christmas with my family. We have a very nice dinner that Becky made for us and opened tons of gifts! Sam got a new VTech Playhouse toy from Grandpa and Grandma and a Finding Nemo book that lights up and makes noise. He played with the Playhouse a lot the next morning. Grandpa and Grandma also put some more money in his college fund - which is always very, very appreciated! THANK YOU Grandpa and Grandma! He got a Doodle Dinosaur and Dr. Seuss book and stuffed animal from Aunt Jeanette. From Aunt Becky he got an outfit and the new Tickle Me Elmo. We all thought that the Tickle Me Elmo would be a big hit, but every time we take it out of the box he shakes his head no and wants us to put it back in the box! Hopefully he likes it soon! Andy and I got lots of gift cards to the movies and dinner, and a babysitter included! We got lots of other great gifts too - Thank You everyone for the great gifts! Merry Christmas. All the pictures are here!

Christmas Cookies

Jacob, Sam and I made some Christmas cookies this afternoon. I don't know who is going to eat them with all the frosting and sprinkles on them, but hopefully Santa will! Enjoy some pictures here. (Thank you Dad for letting me borrow your camera!)

Way Behind Schedule...

I knew that starting a new job three weeks before Christmas would put a cramp in getting everything I needed to get done for the holidays. But, hey you do what you gotta do. I finally got my Christmas cards done and mailed yesterday (two weeks behind schedule than past years). I finally got the tree decorated last night (it's only been up for a week now). I started wrapping "Santa's" gifts last night - and also realized that going to take a long longer than I planned (I will probably be wrapping five minutes before the kids wake up!). Normally I am finished wrapping gifts at least a week before Christmas. And I still have shopping to do, something that I normally wrapped up with long before now. I am not looking forward to being out there with all those last minute shoppers. I planned to get a lot of things done today, but of course that won't happen either. Sam was up all night sick and very unhappy. We went to the clinic this morning and he has an ear infection in both ears. He now happily sleeping with the strong medicine they gave him to dull the pain. Oh what fun the holidays are!!! But they really are when you see the kids faces on Christmas morning, then it's all worth it.

Another Year Gone By

Today I celebrated my thirty second birthday. I actually celebrated yesterday too with Andy, Jacob and Sam and tonight with my parents and sisters. I was thinking this morning how the meaning of your birthday changes with age. Thirty years ago I was just two and barely knew what "birthday" meant. I just knew that I was getting presents and that was reason enough to celebrate. Twenty years ago when I was twelve I couldn't wait to have my girlfriends over for a sleepover and talk about boys and do each other's hair and makeup. Even ten years ago, when I was twenty two, birthdays meant a time to "PARTY!." I got as drunk as I could for the entire weekend surrounding my birthday. This year it's a lot more mellow. I just looked forward to spending time with my family and being thankful that I have everything that I dreamt my life to be. My son is going to be two soon and I am very excited to see the joy on his face when he figures out what birthdays are all about. Instead of talking about boys, I have an awesome husband that I don't have to worry about, "if he likes me." And while partying was a lot of fun, for some reason I seem to remember the morning after a lot more and I wasn't feeling so good then! Birthdays are a lot of fun and wonderful memories are made. They always make me reflect on how my life has changed throughout the years. I wonder what the next ten years will bring.

Christmas Tree Hunting

Today we went and hunted down the perfect Christmas Tree. We went to a new place, Trim Pines in Holly. First we boarded the horse drawn hayride and that took us out to the Christmas Tree Farm. But first we spotted some reindeer and then Santa! We got a family picture in with Santa, then Jacob and Sam told Santa what they wanted for Christmas. Jacob of course wanted video games and Sam, well he just sat there like "who is this guy and why am I sitting on his lap." Then went walked around the farm until we spotted the area of tress that we liked. Jacob cut down the tree that we all picked out (well not really, they were already cut!). It's a nice big round tree (which I have to say looked a lot smaller out there in farm). We loaded it onto the hayride and then took it back to our car. The ride home was a whole other story - let's just say we didn't tie it onto of the car very well, but it didn't fall off! That might be because we were the slowest car on I-75 for about 20 miles! Here are all the pictures.

Where am I?

Sam found a new hiding spot! Had to take some pictures!

Squirrel Watching

Sam and I feed the squirrels some shelled peanuts on the deck this afternoon. It took about an hour but the squirrels found the peanuts and were eating them up like crazy. Sam was amazed watching them and trying to figure what it was they were doing. Then he banged on the window and of course scared them all away. (oh, but don't worry they came back once he was napping!) Check out some more cute pictures here.

My Two Month Vacation is Over

I have some great news! I got offered a new job! And this is one that I was really hoping for too! I am very excited about it (as you can tell). I will be doing more of accounts payable and working with purchasing on invoices (a lot of what I did at my last job, but not at the same time). The offer came with a nice raise and some great benefits, so of course that is a nice plus! It's only 15 minutes from home and I can work my early shift (7:30-4:30)! I start December 5th, so I will post an update of how it goes!

Happy Thanksgiving!

A Thanksgiving Prayer

Oh, Heavenly Father,
We thank thee for food and remember the hungry.
We thank thee for health and remember the sick.
We thank thee for friends and remember the friendless.
We thank thee for freedom and remember the enslaved.
May these remembrances stir us to service,
That thy gifts to us may be used for others. Amen.

May the spirit of Thanksgiving be shared by one and all!

Have a Wonderful Thanksgiving, and may God Bless you this Thanksgiving day and always!

"Bad Dog"

Sam has learned his first two word phrase. And I am learning that I need to watch what I say on a regular basis. I know that I tell Ocho (the dog) that he is bad when he does something like try to nip at Sam or take one of Sam's toys. And I tell Sam that he is bad when he dumps out the dog's water or food or when he throws his entire dinner to the dog. You know normal everyday things that kids and dogs do! Now I didn't think that I really said it all that often, but about a week ago, I heard Sam's first two word phase, "bad dog," as he points and yells at the dog. Or he will go where the dog's food and water is and point at the water and say "bad dog." He has the concept going - he knows what bad is. The thing is he says this ALL the time now! Even when the dog is being perfect, he yells at him - "bad dog." I got a cute video - now of course he wouldn't say the phrase when I tried to video him, but he does say "dog" and a couple a seconds later "bad, bad, bad" and then the famous "no" comes out too when I ask him a question. Here's the video (remember I can completely understand what he is saying - to someone that doesn't have a 1 year old or it's been awhile you might not quit understand him!).

Fall Pictures 2006

After three trips to the park, several outfit changes and an evening of Sam being in the worse mood ever, I somehow managed to get some family pictures. The ones of Jacob and Sam turned out great at the park (I always love taking those). Of course I got them the kinda matching sweaters and tried to get some of the same poses from last year. Jacob was great, smiled when I asked him to, looked where I wanted him to and he even had to ignore his brother when he wanted to bust out laughing. Sam on the other had, well lets just say it's a lot harder to take a "sitting pose" of a one and half year old toddler than it was last year when he was just five months! (I guess it would be the whole thing that he is mobile now - and quite fast I might add.) The evening for family pictures I thought would go great (boy was I wrong). As soon I had heard Sam stirring in his crib from his nap, I had the rest of us change into our "outfits" and got all ready. Sam woke up, I changed him, gave him a snack, but he was having no part of a family picture! I did get a couple good shots in (mind you I am using the automatic timer and jumping into the picture two second before the flash goes off). I also included some of the "not so great shots." ENJOY!

Halloween 2006

Happy Halloween! This year Sam and I went over to my best friend, Erin's house. We thought that her daughter, Maya, and Sam would have fun trick-or-treating together. And they did! It was kinda chilly out so we just went to a few houses. Sam wasn't sure what he was doing really, but he seemed to like walking around and he looked so cute! Sam was a pumpkin and Maya was a ladybug. Sam had his first tootsie roll when we were finished and of course he wanted more! Jacob was at his mom's house this year and he was a pirate! Hopefully I will have some pictures to add of him too. Check out all the pictures here.

Close Cousins

My niece, Lily was over tonight for a little bit and I just couldn't resist taking some pictures of her! Sam was still napping when she got here so I got her alone with the camera. When Sam woke up I got some cute pictures of them together. They are only 9 months apart, so I really hope they grow up to be close cousins (and we only live 10 minutes away)! You can see all the pictures if you click here.

Apple Picking, Hayrides, Cider and Some Mud

Sam and I met up with my parents and sisters for the morning and afternoon for some fun at Miller's Big Red Apple Orchard. It was raining some in the morning but by the time we got there (since we took a wrong turn at one point) it had stopped raining for awhile and we had a great time! Sam and Grandpa picked some apples and they were very really yummy! We went a on hayride and Becky trudged through the mud to get a pumpkin. Then we went to the petting farm where Sam wanted to kiss the goats! We then got some donuts and ciders and walked around some more. It started rain again so we got started back home. But since we were so close we decided to stop by the house that recently aired on ABC's Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. You can see all the pictures here.

America Funniest Home Video?

A couple of weeks ago Sam discovered how to turn the water on and off in the bathtub. He loved it - on, off, on, off, fill the cup up with water dump it out, fill it up and dump it out. He did this for about five minutes (which I got on video). They he wondered what they little thing would do on top of the faucet (the shower thing) - He didn't like what it did!!! The look he has at the end of the video is just too cute! We are going to send it into America's Funniest Home Video. Who knows if it will get picked to air, but worth a shot! Here is a link to the video. (warning: there is nudity in this video of Sam!)

Into God's Family

Matt & Lily were brought into God's family and baptized this morning at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church. Myself (Pam) and Kurt (Kim's brother) were Lily's God Parents. It was a beautiful ceremony and Lily was in a great mood the whole time! Here are some more pictures!

I'm What???

Well I knew it was coming, but of course it still took me by surprise when I was told. I have worked for Neumann Homes (formerly Tadian Homes) for almost three and half years now. Because of the Michigan's economy and the lack of homes sales there were more cuts backs again today. There were a lot of cut backs last November (now that one took everyone by surprise because we didn't know how bad the company was doing). Unfortunately I was one of the cut backs today and was let go. Like I said everyone I worked with knew the company was in bad shape and that cuts were coming. I am being positive about it, I have lots of experience and I am sure I will find something again soon. In the meantime I get to spend some great quality time with my son! And I should be able to post a lot more on here! And I really want to get selling a lot more on eBay. And I noticed the fridge needs cleaning, the windows are pretty dirty too. And..... well the list goes on, I am sure I will keep myself busy! But for now I am unemployed.

The Cider Mill

We went to Yates Cider Mill today. It was a perfect day, sunny with just a touch of clouds and in the mid sixties. We went right after church to beat the crowds. First we got some fresh donuts and apple cider. We walked around and got some apples and then walked the trail. Jacob and Sam loved walking down the trail and I got some super cute pictures!

Biking, Slushies & the Park

We have been trying to find new things to do outside of the house, that are cheap and that everyone will have fun doing! So we the last couple of weekeneds we have been bike riding and this time I remember my camera (the last time I remembered my camera but forgot the memory card - can't save pictures without that!). We started off on the Paint Creek Trail and biked for about 2 miles. Jacob did a great job and Sam loved just hanging out of the back of daddy's bike. We even spoted some deer along the way. We made our way the Dairy Queen for some slushies. Jacob got kiwi-strawberry and Sam got cherry. Of course they kept trading and Daddy and I had some too. Then we biked over to Rochester Park where Sam chased some ducks and Jacob climbed and hung in the trees. And of course they played on the play structures and went swinging. Then we took the Paint Creek Trail back home. It was a beautiful day and we had got some great excerise and had a great time! More pictures.

eBay has Overtaken...

I know, I know it's been awhile since I have posted anything new. I have been getting together tons and tons of stuff to sell on eBay. And it has truly overtaken my evenings, from 8:30-10:30 every night I am taking pictures and loading them up and getting my postings ready. So, now almost everything is loaded and up for sale and I can get back to the more important pictures - Jacob and Sam! (Until next week when I have to ship out over 150 things!).

Strawberry Picnic

Grandma Lynda and Sam had a strawberry picnic with cool whip. Sam loved dipping the strawberries, but didn't like when the cool whip got on his hands - he couldn't figure out how to get it off! More pictures.

Sam's Smoothies

Sam LOVES smoothies! We got this Magic Bullet Blender and as soon as I bring it out Sam knows it "Smoothie Time." He helps me get out the frozen berries, yogurt, crushed ice and a splash of orange juice (or sometimes V8 splash). We cram it all into this little cup and put in on the base and blend away. Sam always has to sit up on the counter right next to me to make sure that I don't drink any of his smoothie first. Now that he knows how to drink from a straw I make it a little extra juicy so it's easier for him to get. It's a great healthy snack and he loves it! Of course more pictures!

Potty Training Already?

Sam has been watching daddy go to the bathroom lately. Seems he thinks that maybe he is ready to use the potty. I am not quite ready yet though, we're still going to wait awhile. But it was a cute kodak moment!

Lucy & Sam

Sam's counsin Lucy came over today to help Grandma out. They went to the mall play area, Sam goes almost everyday and he LOVES it there! But he had even more fun with Lucy there to play with and run after! Lucy was worn out after they were done! Thanks Lucy - hope you had fun! You can see all the pics here.

A New View...

Sam has learned how to climb. And so he is climbing on everything and being quite the little dare devil. His first thing to climb on was the dishwasher, I don't mind as long as the dishes are clean (of course anything breakable or sharp has to removed before he runs over to the dishwasher - so lets just say I can unload it with lighting speed now!). Recently we put a rocking chair in his room which he learned to climb and sit down on fairly quickly and he looked really cute sitting in it. Now he climbs up and rather than sitting down, stands up in it and then gets up onto the arm of it where he tries to get into his crib from there. He can't get into his crib from this position yet, but I think it is only a matter of time. The pretend four wheeler that great-grandma and grandpa got him he has mastered getting on and off of that, so much that now he climbs on and tries to stand on the back on the seat with his hands on the bars, like he is going to do a wheely on it or something! He has also discovered that if he climb on the kitchen chairs you can get to an even higher point - the kitchen table! So kitchen chairs are always pushed under the table - even if you have to get up for millisecond. He loves to sit on the couch and until the other day we would have to help him. But now he can get up there too and he loves sitting up there like a big person. Of all the places he can climb this is the only safe one, but I shouldn't say that too quickly or next thing I know he is going to be trying to jump off it! Check out the video of his new accomplishment. Sam seems to like all the new places he can reach and the new view he has to see where his new adventure might lead him.

Sam's First Trip to the Zoo

My best friend Erin and her daughter, Maya and Sam and I went to the Detroit Zoo today. It was pretty hot and some of the animals were not out. But we did see a lot of animals, some of them Sam took interest in and he wanted to climb over the railing too play with them. Other animals he could care less about. I think that his favorite animal was the monkeys - probably because he could bang on the glass at them. We all had a great time and it was really nice to spend some time with Erin and Maya. You can see all the pics of the kids and the animals here.

Sam- Video Clip

I was playing around with the camera and the video functions and made a quick video of Sam in his rocking chair (that use to be Jacob's when he was little) and his blankie. This blankie goes everywhere with us now by the way! Click the link below to see the video.

Sam's First Day at the Beach

We took Sam to the beach for the first time today. We went to Independence Oaks Beach (and what a coincidence we went on the Fourth of July!). He loved it! He sat right down in the sand and starting playing. Then he noticed the kids playing in the water and walked right over to the lake. He plopped right down in the water and was splashing and playing. Once we got back over to the sand he loved having all the sand stick to him. Guess we will be visiting the beach some more this summer. Check out the pics.

A Fun Sunday!

Today we went over Andy's brother's house and we celebrated our niece Kelsey's birthday. The boys had so much fun. Jacob went swimming with Kelsey at the local pool and Sam even tried it out too! He wouldn't go in at first with mommy, but later daddy sat down with him and for some reason he liked it better with his clothes on! We took a ton of pictures as always. Check them out!

Sam's 1st Birthday - Party #2

Today Sam celebrated his first birthday with Andy's side of the family. We had a beautiful day, but hot, in the 90's. Sam got lots of new toys, his room is starting to over-flow now! Grandma and Grandpa got him his first little swimming pool and toys to go with it. Even though this was his second cake he still wasn't sure about it. But it only took him a few seconds and he was into the frosting! He got a little bit of cake in his mouth too! While people where leaving Daddy was pushing him in his swing outside and he was so exhausted he fell asleep out there! Thank you everyone for coming and for the gifts! You can see more pictures here.

Happy 1st Birthday Sam!

Today is Sam's 1st Birthday. Just a year ago he couldn't even hold his own head up or smile. Now he is walking (trying to run!), talking, laughing and loves to play. It's amazing how much he has changed in this first year and how he is becoming his own person!

Happy Birthday Sam!

Sam's 1st Birthday - Party #1

Sam celebrated his 1st birthday with Pam's side of the family today! He had a great time and was in a pretty good mood the whole time too! (Got the nap and lunch in at the right time!) He actually tried to open his presents, of course he got some help though. He even helped Uncle Jeff put together his new ride on and pull toy from Aunt Becky! Uncle Dan gave him his first taste of a bratwurst and potato chips - he must of liked them because he kept coming back for more! Grandma made him a beautiful blanket with pictures of his family on it. He got some more toys and clothes and gift cards and money to put away for college. He even got his first credit card! He loved his own cake! He wasn't sure what to do at first (I normally don't let him make that big of a mess!). I think that he liked the frosting the most, he ate almost all of that! Later he was eating dinner and Grandma had a piece of cake and he wanted her's too! I thought that the sugar in the cake would keep him up, but he was out like a light at bedtime. I think that he had a great party! Thank you everyone for coming!!! Here is the link to the pictures - warning - there are a lot, I put everyone's on there!

Gatlinburg, TN - 2006

Every year Andy's family has a reunion in Gatlinburg, TN. We love it here - heck we even got married here! We had a rough start to the trip, the ride there Sam lost his whole dinner (while we were driving) and then we got stuck in over a two hour traffic back-up; but we made it! When I looked up the weather before we left it said it would be cold and rainy, but we had just the opposite - sunny and perfectly warm. Jacob had a great time, him and Kelsey dragged papa around from the arcade to the stores and back to the arcade. Sam adjusted somewhat, he really enjoyed all the stroller rides outside and people watching. We did a lot of walking since Sam would take his naps in the stroller, I found parts of Gatlinburg I never knew existed (hey you do anything to keep a crabby toddler asleep - so I just kept on walking!) Andy and I enjoyed spending time with each other and family that we don't get to see very often. We visited the aquarium (something we have been to several times), Jacob loved it as always and Sam just starred at all the fish. We had our annual dinner Saturday night, got the boys their yearly Gatlinburg air brushed t-shirts, Andy and Jacob rode the sky-lift into the mountains and we strolled through all the shops. We didn't get a chance to go up into the mountains like we like to do every year, but maybe next year we will make up for that - Andy wants to try and do a day hike! The car ride home was much better than the way there. Andy, Jacob and our niece Kelsey watched movies and then the kids fell asleep until we got home. There are pics online, most are of the aquarium though! Gatlinburg Website

Picture Day!

Picture is a big deal at the Moran house, well at least for me it is! The boys probably hate it! I pick out outfits weeks (sometimes months) in advance – matching of course and shop studios for the perfect background. That morning the boys are not allowed to wear their “outfits” until five minutes until we walk out the door, for fear a stain will magically appear somehow. And, we also have to make Sam gets a decent nap in before pictures too so he is in a good mood. And after all that planning of course the actual taking of the pictures only take 20-30 minutes! This year I went to My Photographer and I think the pictures turned out awesome. You can check them out yourself online. The password is 1050. Grandparents, aunts and uncles I have your standard pictures ordered and will get them to you soon!

Clip, Clip...

Today Sam got his first hair cut! And he did great! His hair really wasn't long, it was just so uneven everywhere. And last time I tried to cut it I was chasing him all over the house, an hour later, I got a couple snips in! So this time I thought I would leave it to a professional. I put him in the chair, the lady put the "curtain" (I forget what they call those thing) over him. And he just sat there! I think it happened so fast for him he didn't have time to think about what was going on. He didn't like the blowdryer though. You can check out all the pictures here.

Vroom Vroom...

Grandma and Grandpa got Sam this new ride-on four wheeler for Easter. Sam loves it, especially all the different noise it makes! He hasn’t figures out how to get it on it yet, so I have to help him out.
But I am sure in no time he will be zipping around the house in it!
Thank you Great-Grandma & Grandpa – Love Sam!

Easter Sunday

What a busy day. I was up at 6:30 to get a head start on the day. Jacob and Sam were up at about 7:30. They found their eggs that the Easter Bunny left them with clues on them on the where abouts of their Easter baskets. We woke up daddy and Jacob started the search. He found Sam's first - it was pretty easy to find - in dad and mom's bathroom under the sink. Sam found the plastic eggs filled with Cheerios (figured it was better then trying to stop him from putting chocolate in his mouth). He opened the eggs and of course Cheerios spilled out all over, but the dog was right there to eat them up. Jacob's was a little harder to find - hey I had to make it harder, he found out about the Easter Bunny, so I figured I would really make him work for it now! But he found his, outside on the back deck (his clue was "it's someplace where there is a light bulb"). Jacob and Sam went through their baskets and within fifteen minutes that was over. Sam was hungry for breakfast and Jacob wanted to play video games. We actually were all ready to leave for church on time and got there 10 minutes early(just as I had planned so we would get a seat). Sam and church do not go together lately and so Andy and I took turns walking around with him. Andy tried to put him in the nursery and it worked... for about 10 minutes until another kid stepped on him (how dare they!). So after church it was back home for a quick lunch for Sam then him and I went off to my grandparents. Spent some time there, Sam got a ride-on four wheeler from his great grandparents and a new toy and book for his grandparents. After dinner there we were on our way to meet up with Andy and Jacob at my brother and sister in laws. By 6:00 Jacob had spent probably five hours playing video games and Sam was a complete wreck. All in all is was a great day, although I don't think Sam had any idea it was his first Easter. You can see more pictures here.

Up From the Water…

This morning Sam was baptized and brought into the Lord’s family. Aunt Becky (Pam’s sister) is his Godmother and Uncle Matt (Andy’s brother) is his Godfather. Sam did a great job and didn’t even cry! Just looked up at Father Joe, like what is he doing with me? Surprisingly he was in a good mood the whole service – I wasn’t sure how that was going to go since it was right in the middle of his normal lunch time! More pictures (compliments of Dad Geisler) are available here.

Jacob’s 9th Birthday

Wow, I can’t believe Jacob is nine already – last year of a single digit (big thing to turn double digits when you are a kid)! We had Dad and Mom Moran over for dinner and some cake. Jacob got a Playstation Two – something he has been wanting for awhile. You can see all the pictures here.
